This is our Braeburn picked this fall. We have kept in our refrigerated cold room since harvest (October 2020).
Braeburn is a first-class dessert apple, with a richness and complexity of flavor that is on a par with older classic apple varieties. It is crisp and tangy, and very juicy. It snaps cleanly to the bite, and there is an immediate rush of strong apple flavor. Our Braeburn apples are premium tree-ripened and have more red and less green coloring than what you find in the supermarket.
Braeburn - Cold Room
We usually start picking Braeburn the last week of September until the end of October. We also leave some on the trees into the winter for making our Apple Ice-Wine.
During harvest season, we are very busy keeping up with local orders. We fully tree-ripen Braeburn, so they are best eaten fresh. We don't offer shipping on this variety.
